Plans are underway to take the 2006 National Workshop on Christian Unity to the capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose, California, with the San Jose Fairmont Hotel serving as our Workshop hotel. The event will open on Monday May 8, 2006 and will continue though lunch on Thursday, May 11. Local Planning Committee

The National Planning Committee for the NWCU will be meeting in San José on September 15-16, at the Fairmont Hotel - the NWCU 2006 Workshop Hotel. At that noon to noon meeting they will complete work on the meeting agenda, and will plan the details for the meeting. Following that meeting the final production for the 2006 Brochure will be completed and prepared for distribution to the Ecumenical Networks. All of the information that will be included in the Brochure will also be placed on the NWCU Web Site by November 1st, and at that time people may begin making use of our On Line Registration process. Last year nearly 1/3 of all registrations made use of the On Line Registration process. That process is being refined and we expect an even larger percentage of registrants to make use of the On Line process.
